What?! You don’t have a mac yet you made this!?
Yes I don’t have a mac. I am perfectly happy with my Fetch3000. Maybe I should give some points to myself for this…hmmmm…anyway, I know it must work because it’s based on another dashboard widget that I made that works. so um…I don’t have screenshots…THIS BLOG IS RUINED! NO! but wait! if you have a mac and you are willing to run this deathdefying dashboard widget and send some screenshots back than you can save the day (and I will be grateful).
So since I have no idea if it will work (let’s try it anyway! you could get some kibble….) so let’s call it beta.

I get an error while trying to unzip it. :\
Sorry about that just realized that I accidentally double zipped the file.
try this:

I had to unzip it on my Window’s machine and send it via network to my Mac… But once here, it works!

After I post a new blog entry, the “Save as Draft” and “Publish” buttons move further down the widget for some reason… I haven’t tried the other features yet, but will keep you posted.
Awesome stuff.
good job fetcher! For that you get umm…*scavanges around for an awesome prize* hmmm…uhh…you like video game stuff?
No prize needed, the widget will be prize in itself soon enough.
A few things that I have noticed:
1) A new icon for the Mac Dashboard would be nice, it just requires another .png file and a bit of code, I believe.2) Whenever I log into the WordPress Widget, I am logged out of WordPress on my browser… Not sure if that is something you can fix or not.3) The “Log Out” button does not log me out.
That being said, this will be wonderful once a few bugs are fixed and more Mac people test it out.

By the way, free publicity from my hardly-ever-visited brand new blog. Haha. Gave you a nice post.
I just added the icon and thanks for the great post! You really respected the ruff!
done without a mac? i’m impressed. i’ve heard the learning curve for dashboard is easy, this seems above and beyond.
Yeah, I made it on my Fetch 3000 which was hard to do because I couldn’t get the file format right (till I hit the big red button. oooolalala!) Always wanted to hit that big button. And now I did *tail wags a ton*.
Thanks for the comment.
